Sr Staff Effects Artist

Are you an artist that specializes in effects? We’re looking for a Sr Staff Effects Artist to help drive and contribute to the technical development of AAA products with a specialized focus on creating special effects, techniques, and processes for game development. The Sr Staff FX artist will be responsible for creating most of the FX, tools, and defining processes that assist in all areas of special effects creation from the rendering engine to tool development to achieve the highest artistic quality with the least amount of overhead.  Responsibilities include animating particles, creating and painting 2D texture maps, special effect shader setup, some 3D modeling/sculpting, some material setup/UV layout,and some lighting.  Must poses ability to collaborate at a high level with a wide-range of development team members outside of direct discipline such as Directors, Designers, Programmers,Technical Artist, and Animators to achieve the highest artistic goals with the fastest implementation as they relate to game design and technical considerations.


Sr Character Technical Artist

Come join Bend Studio! Help drive and contribute to the technical development of characters and animation for AAA products with a specialized focus on creating character rigging methods, animation tools, and pipelines.  The Senior Character Technical Artist will be responsible for creating tools and processes that assist in all areas of character animation production to achieve the highest artistic quality in the least amount of time, keeping hardware limitations and performance in mind.  Responsibilities include: defining technical quality standards, overseeing the development of art pipelines, and setting technical production goals.  Must possess the ability to collaborate at a high level with a wide-range of development team members outside of direct discipline, such as Directors, Programmers, Character Artists, Animators, and Designers to achieve the highest artistic goals as they relate to the game design and within technological considerations.


Sr Animation Programmer

We are looking for a senior animation programmer to help develop next generation animation systems for a current working title being developed by Bend Studio. This is not an entry level position and applicant must be able to demonstrate current working knowledge in the field of animation development for recent game applications.  This role is closely related to both a physics and animation engineer.


Senior Animator

Animate characters, weapons, vehicles and everything else that moves in a game. Create sophisticated character performances for in game and cinematic sequences including acting, facial animation and lip-syncing. Strong understanding of human, animal and object motion, weight, and timing applied to 3D animation.
